Earlier this year, I started blogging my observations and opinions about municipal issues. I never stopped being passionate about and present in our community, but it quickly became clear I needed to be in a different role to lead the changes I felt strongest about. What started out as an educative approach, quickly shifted to advocacy as the community encouraged me to continue writing and subsequently stand for election as Mayor.
